A sustainable and future-proof energy supply for AFAS Software in Leusden. 

Last May, VDL Energy Systems delivered two of the four planned e-PU10 energy storage systems to AFAS Software in Leusden, in cooperation with Croonwolter&dros.

These systems will enable more efficient use of self-generated solar energy and help resolve grid congestion. Croonwolter&dros installed the systems. Technolution developed the energy management software that controls them.

The system already delivered has a capacity of 720 kVA and 1,200 kWh of storage. Two additional systems were installed at the end of 2024.

In its final configuration, the entire system will have a capacity of 1,440 kVA and 2,400 kWh of storage.

This resolves the congestion issue for the foreseeable future. AFAS Software will have a future-proof, (semi-)self-sufficient energy system.
